Red Skull is one of the villains to join Loki and Doom to find the Cosmic Bricks and use Doom's machine.
After Wolverine, Iron Man and Hulk pursued Sabertooth, Magneto and Mystique, Red skull is freed from his prison cell alongside other captives in the Raft.
Later, Red Skull is seen talking to Loki and Arnim Zola in a secret HYDRA base. The three of them noticed Hawkeye and Black Widow are coming for them. The two heroes caught up with them, but Loki knocked them out. Red Skull then fought Human Torch and his nemesis, Captain America. He was defeated and sent back to the Raft.
